Over 15 years of executive leadership for mission-based, nonprofit, human services and health care organizations and the State of Oregon. Strategic leadership in a wide range of arenas including communications, planning, policy, personnel management, and board development. Substantial coalition building and policy advocacy experience. Creation of Medicaid Member Advisory Committees, member-responsive programs and innovative programs inspired by the member experience. Maintain an extensive network of political leaders, health industry executives, social service agencies and organizations that serve under-represented populations.

Led the largest nursing union and professional association in Oregon.

 

ONA is a member governed organization with scores of member lead committees, bargaining units and special interest groups. Staff and member-leaders both implement member initiated programs. .

Directed CareOregon’s external relationships with policymakers, member-centric programs, communications, marketing and community benefit program.
